I went to Via Vetrai 15 after several calls that nobody answered, but there was no Portichetto sign. The place now appears to say “condominiums or the swallows.” Should this B&B be removed so future guests don’t waste their time?

The hosts made us feel welcome, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It’s a lovely place to stay, and if I come back to Asti I’ll choose it again. I’d recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a homely stay.

We had agreed with the owners that I could check in after 9:30 PM, but when I arrived the door stayed shut. They ignored my repeated messages and calls to both numbers. Apparently, they had decided to go for a stroll then. I find it very unfair and unprofessional to leave a guest locked out, especially someone who had stayed at this B&B before. I strongly advise against staying here.

Anna and Mario made me feel very welcome. I got there earlier than expected and could leave my suitcase, and they suggested places to eat and even lent me a bike to explore Asti 🤗. When I came back, they asked what time I’d be getting up. After a shower and a good rest in one of their cozy rooms, I found a great breakfast waiting. I tried a bit of everything, including some calcium, while chatting with Anna and Mario and telling them a little about my country, Guatemala. Highly recommended!
