B&b Giadà

The room's only real drawback was some rising damp, with paint peeling near the bottom of the walls. Otherwise, B&B Giadá is in a peaceful spot close to the center and everyday amenities, so a car isn't necessary. The ground-floor room has been recently renovated and is lovely, though its windowless bathroom relies on an extractor fan. There's a shared area with small tables, and breakfast is at Izzo bar with the coupons handed out at check-in. The staff were helpful and quick to reply to messages, and checking in after hours went smoothly.

When it's out of season, breakfast is at the café-bar just 50 meters away, where the Apulian pasticciotti are exceptional. In season, it's served on-site. The B&B itself is modern, comfortable, and has all the comforts.

We had private parking right in front, and the rooms were well soundproofed. The location worked well for reaching the beaches, with a supermarket across the road; the town also had events and music every evening. Our room was clean and had the essentials, and Ms. Luana was kind and ready to help. Dinner at their restaurant, Piano B, was excellent too. The owner of the bar with the property's special agreement was also accommodating and kind to our needs.

The problem was the ground-floor room's location: it's next to reception and the breakfast room, so expect to be woken around 7:30 every morning. The electricity meter is in the room as well, and one morning they woke us at 7:00 to switch it back on. The place itself is new and clean, with fresh linens changed daily. Breakfast was fine but lacked variety. My only other negative was the woman managing this lovely facility, who seemed to have no experience in hospitality or this line of work.
