Breakfast is included and served at Bar Sport in the square, making this excellent value for money. On the street outside the rooms, near reception, there’s a table, chairs, and a drying rack for guests. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning, a fridge, and a TV. The bathroom was spotless too, and had a hairdryer, toiletries, and plenty of towels. Anna and Stefano were very friendly and kind, and always ready to help.

We found fresh water and fruit in our room when we arrived, and appreciated how well soundproofed it was. The Zaffiro room was welcoming, clean, and just as we expected. Stefano and Anna, who run the B&B, were attentive and always available to help. We’ll definitely return.

We were able to bring our four-legged friend along, which made the stay even better. The room was kept in lovely condition and was very clean. The owners were welcoming, friendly, and always available if we needed anything. We’d gladly come back.

Terrible. We paid 160 EUROS PER NIGHT for five of us, two adults and three children, including one who was 2 years old. The last three days of my stay, from August 6th to 13th, were ruined by black cockroaches coming out at night and crawling on the floor and walls. The rooms had recently been renovated and looked nice and clean during the day, but at night the cockroaches appeared. I’d shut the room and terrace properly. After seeing the first three, I moved the beds and bedside tables and found them there too, half dead. We called Stefano, the owner, who came with his wife at midnight to see what was going on, carrying insecticide. At first he said it was the first time, but then admitted they’d previously tried to figure out where the insects came in and hadn’t succeeded. He treated it as normal and said there was no need to worry. The next day he sprayed insecticide everywhere, despite my 2-year-old putting his hands everywhere. It didn’t help much: we found three more the following evening and two on the last night, ten large black cockroaches altogether. When we left, my husband asked for a refund for the final nights. I told Stefano to call pest control, but he said it cost too much and wouldn’t solve the problem. He seemed to think he could handle it himself by spraying insecticide around each day and hiding the presence of these insects from guests. He called them “ANIMALOPTERS.” He also said they’d been found in another nearby room he owns, and that this was normal because Avetrana is full of them. I strongly advised him to put up notices showing cockroaches and warn guests that they were among their belongings, so people could decide whether to stay there or not. He didn’t answer me.
