Residence Magnolia

The owner was lovely to deal with, very accommodating and quick to respond whenever we needed something. During our move to Italy, we stayed here and enjoyed being in central Aviano, within walking distance of several cafes and restaurants. I even happened upon the weekly town market just around the corner. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d recommend the place for any kind of trip.

The hostess was so sweet and welcoming. The room was cozy and spacious enough for one person. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of several shops and restaurants.

I still remember the couple who were our landlords during my three-month stay in 1997. I was there on temporary duty with the USAF, and they showed me such charm and hospitality. They said I reminded them of their son, who had recently left home. I was nearly 20 and so grateful to get that experience of Italy. Being put up by the U.S. Government in such a beautiful place amazed me, but what has stayed with me all these years, 43 now, is the impression that husband and wife left. As I recall, the rooms were cozy and very clean, with comfortable beds. The view of the foothills from my balcony was breathtaking. I imagine it’s still just as I remember, and hope your stay is the same.

The room met my needs, but Nadia, the owner, and her son are what made the place stand out. They did everything they could to handle my requests and went beyond that to make me feel at home. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
