B&B Villa Maris

Antonio was very helpful with everything we needed, and we found the accommodation itself very good. Our modern room was roomy enough and clean, with a small fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning, and a large terrace with a sea view. The maids refreshed it daily, and street parking was possible. The beach and restaurants in Avola were a five-minute walk away. We could sit out in the front yard or on the terrace with a coffee. Breakfast was okay, and we had it at a nearby place. It was a little hard for us and the waiters to understand one another since we don't speak Italian, but they did their best to help guests.

We were delighted by the sheltered, quiet, fragrant beach and the striking blue-green sea. The B&B's charming little villa was just a hundred meters along the road. Inside, the rooms were new, spacious, and carefully finished. One was on the cool ground floor; the other had a sea view and a large terrace. The bathrooms were beautiful and spotless, even better than the photos suggest. Breakfast brought giant ricotta pastries, granita, and croissants, and the staff were as welcoming and friendly as you could hope for in Sicily. We booked after reading the Booking.com reviews, which didn't let us down. Highly recommended!

We're still in the middle of our week here, but we're already sure this deserves five stars. The room is lovely, the location is right on the beach, and the hosts are helpful and ready to accommodate requests. Breakfast is available too, just ask for what you want. It's been a wonderful vacation. I'll send photos later.
