Appartamenti Viale Mezzetti

The living area works fine, but the sleeping area really needs updating. The mattress is badly warped, and the bathroom needs an overhaul. The shower is moldy, and when you flush the toilet, water splashes into your hair while you’re using the bidet.

My apartment was clean and on the second floor, but it wasn’t the best. There were no mosquito screens or air conditioning, and the shower wouldn’t drain. I hope they fix those things, because the location is strategic. I mean this as constructive advice, not a criticism.

The main drawback for me was carrying luggage up all those stairs. The building has no elevator, and its high ceilings make the second floor feel like a third, after several steps to reach the first floor and even more to reach the second. The renovated building dates from the 1960s and 1970s. The location is very convenient, opposite the Foligno train station and about 700 meters from the city center, and the apartments are functional. My other comment is that it’s a bit pricey.

The inside is modern and spotless, even though the building looks a little dated from the outside. It’s right across from Foligno train station, and the owner and cleaning lady were both friendly and helpful.
