B&B La Beula

Breakfast was entirely prepackaged and very poor quality, and I thought the cold cuts were sliced too thin. The ensuite bathroom was cramped, with no bidet or hairdryer. It’s handy for getting to Alpe Devero, but far too expensive for what you get.

At night, the view across the whole valley is spectacular. The B&B is just opposite the family home where I spent my vacation, and seems to be kept in excellent condition. The owner is there practically every day. There are endless hiking routes, places to climb, and historic sites to see.

It’s peaceful here, and the stay feels relaxing. The property is simple but excellent, very close to Baceno, with plenty of storage in the room and everything immaculately clean. The staff make you feel at home. The owner can tell you what you need to know about the area, and if you ride a motorcycle, it’s worth having a chat with her. She’ll gladly suggest routes through Italy and Switzerland with breathtaking scenery. And don’t miss breakfast, it’s excellent.

The owner was very kind and happy to answer any questions. Our room was huge and clean, and the property was excellent. Breakfast was great too, especially the homemade cakes. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!
