Apartments Mimose

The terrace was one of our favorite spots. It has a canopy for shade during the hottest part of the day, so having lunch or dinner outside was really pleasant. Sardinia gets a breeze quite often, which helped too. The house itself is charming, fresh, and welcoming, with well-arranged spaces and everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and there was juice, water, and a very good bottle of white wine waiting in the fridge when we arrived. The bedroom is spacious, with a double bed, sofa bed, wardrobe, TV, and air conditioning. The bathroom is medium-sized but very comfortable and works well. The complex is well kept and surrounded by greenery. We could park just a few metres from the house, which made unloading easy. There's an outdoor shower by the entrance, handy for rinsing off sand. The walk to the wide beach is short and pleasant, even with little kids or a stroller, and it never felt like the beach would be crowded. You can also drive to plenty of other lovely beaches. There's a bar and small market in the neighborhood, and a large, well-stocked supermarket is a five-minute drive away. We got such a warm welcome in a special place. The sea at Baia delle Mimose and the coast from Badesi to Isolarossa are fantastic. This two-room apartment is in a lovely private complex, close to the white sandy beach and clear water you find on so many Sardinian shores. The beach stretches for over three kilometres, so it's easy to find space, and there are private beach spots where you can grab a snack. The terrace is spacious and especially nice in the cooler hours. The owner keeps the apartment in immaculate condition and comes by periodically to do maintenance. It's set up with every comfort, though there's no washing machine. Linens and towels can be provided if you ask. It's well worth booking. I'd also suggest visiting the quality wineries, including Li Duni, and trying the cheeses and cured meats around Badesi, a region known for its excellent wines.

Marco is a fantastic host who really cares about looking after his guests. The orange apartment, where I stayed for 15 days, was bright and comfortable, with plenty of beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a great bathroom, and every comfort. The place was immaculate, and the broad terrace caught the sea breeze and stayed cool in the evenings, making it lovely for dinner or just relaxing. There's also a solar shower at the entrance for a quick rinse after the beach. I got to see the green apartment too, which is much like the orange one, just a little smaller. The property is surrounded by greenery and peaceful, with a beautiful, wild beach just a short walk away and spectacular sea against Sardinia's unspoiled nature. The complex has plenty of facilities, including a hotel for guests, minimarket, laundry, beach facilities, and a nice club just outside the main entrance. It's in a handy spot halfway along the northern coast, with good access to the main highway and day trips to Alghero, Argentiera, Asinara, Stintino, Sassari, Castelsardo, Perfugas, Isola Rossa, Costa Paradiso, and Santa Teresa di Gallura. It's also a good base for two- or three-day trips to farther places. Don't miss Elephant Rock, the Viddalba Archaeological Museum, or the museums in Castelsardo. The nearby coast is great for climbing and kitesurfing. For traditional food, try "Da Paolino" in nearby Trinità d'Agultu and Vignola, though there are lots of other dining choices around. You can reach the complex by car on the main northern Sardinia highway, by boat from Porto Torres/Olbia, or by plane from Alghero/Olbia. A great fit for a couple, a family wanting peace and quiet, or friends hoping to enjoy the Sardinian sea and its activities.

I spent 10 days in the orange apartment, which was spotless and had everything needed for a beach holiday or a longer stay. There’s a grocery store and self-service laundry in the complex. The terrace is great for eating outside, and there's air conditioning if you’d rather stay in. The area is beautiful and wild, and it’s well placed for day trips to Alghero, Stintino, Santa Teresa di Gallura, and Castelsardo. I’d recommend it to friends and will definitely come back.
