Booking.com found a solution to my problem in five minutes, but the property’s response left me very unhappy. I booked through Booking on June 6th for June 9th and got a confirmation. On the 9th, about an hour before I was due to arrive, I called and was told they had no reservation for my room and were fully booked. I asked what had happened and got only, “It’s Booking’s fault.” I wasn’t able to stay there, and the call ended with me being brushed off. They should have apologized and tried to find a more convincing solution. I don’t think I’ll EVER stay there again or recommend it to anyone in the area.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and the price is affordable. It’s also just two minutes from town and the train station. The rooms are lovely and cozy, and nicely heated in winter. A very positive stay.
