I don’t recommend this place. We stayed three nights with two adults and our 7-year-old, after booking through Booking.com. The accommodation is dated, the room is small, and the amenities are basic. It sits along the road from Corvara to La Villa, in the Funtanacia area. Breakfast was included, but at €928 plus tourist tax, the price felt far too high for this kind of accommodation. The extra bed was quoted as €80, but the final charge was €88 per day. The property is now managed by the Hotel Savoy. In response to the hotel manager’s comments on my review, the issue was how the cost was communicated. On the phone, I asked if a third bed was possible for our 7-year-old and was told, “yes, for an additional €80.” Nobody said that was a per-day fee, including when I went to reception in person. €264 for a child is excessive, and uncomfortable, too. I never asked for a rate reduction. I was pointing out that the room we got was clearly different from the one offered and accepted.

We had a pleasant stay and a wonderful experience. The rooms aren’t very modern, but they’re comfortable. The bus stop is close, and the staff are friendly and available if you need anything. We especially enjoyed being able to use the hotel’s spa and pool.

The staff were courteous, thoughtful, and competent, and did everything they could to help us. The owners’ rudeness, though, was hard to get past. Our booked accommodation wasn’t what we were given: we’d booked a double, but were sold a very cramped triple. When I raised the issue, the owner responded in a rude, inappropriate way instead of apologizing, as if our short stay justified the poor service. A real shame, since the staff were on a whole other level. In response to your message, I never asked for a rate reduction. I only pointed out that the room assigned was clearly different from the one offered and accepted. At check-in it was set up as a double, and a third bed was added only after I promptly asked. There was obviously little space, and the door wouldn’t open all the way. I have doubts about the safety of that.
