The room was great, and the reception staff were lovely. Our experience in the hotel restaurant was the opposite. We followed the dinner instructions we'd been given at reception, but the waitress in traditional dress treated us terribly because of it. Another waitress was kind when we explained what had happened, yet the main waitress stayed rude and made us feel so uncomfortable that we left to eat somewhere else. After that, I can't recommend the restaurant.

The extra charge at checkout really surprised me. Breakfast was included in the 138€ per person, per night rate, but they still charged 5€ for a scrambled egg that wasn't even tasty. At that price, I don't think a three-star hotel should charge separately for it. I was also a little disappointed by how unfriendly the staff seemed, both at reception and at Friday morning breakfast, especially the woman in the white shirt and glasses.

A good choice if you're skiing around La Villa or Carvara. The lifts at La Villa are about three minutes away by car, and Carvara is around seven minutes away. We found the staff friendly and the prices fair. Rooms were clean and spacious, and there's a pleasant spa, good food and wine, plus a garden hot tub.

The afternoon tea was excellent, served on beautiful fine porcelain. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the garden gets plenty of sun if you enjoy being outside.

The spa is quite nice, but the rooms are small and feel pretty dated. The food wasn't consistently good, so I wouldn't recommend the place.
