The hotel’s sauna and spa look out over the mountains, and the nearby skiing is great, with easy connections to the larger areas. We came with our baby, and the family went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. There were lively extras during our stay, including a terrace pizza party and live music. Food was a real highlight. There’s a different dinner menu each night, with balanced dishes and local flavors, plus a huge breakfast spread of fresh local products. The dining room and bar are gorgeous, with lots of care put into the atmosphere. It was such a good stay that we extended it, and we can’t wait to return. Gran Ander has a distinctive, high-end but authentic feel, and the food is incredible.

Our first Dolomites trip turned into an amazing, unforgettable holiday. The hotel and staff were so friendly, cheerful, and helpful, with lovely family hospitality from arrival right through to the day we left. The cuisine and service were excellent, with lots of small thoughtful touches that made us feel special. Chef Ander brought such good energy. Our room was well maintained and had everything we needed, plus an incredible, beautiful view. We’d love to stay here again.

The family who owns the hotel clearly put a lot of love into their work and hospitality. They greet you with a smile, and Andreas deserves a mention for the wonderful gourmet menus throughout the week. It felt really special.

The family who runs this hotel gave us the warmest welcome and the best service. The spa area and huge relaxation room are over the top, and the views from the rooms, restaurant, and amenities are among the best in the Dolomites. The restaurant is world-class, and the windows and finishes are beautiful and modern. It’s also quieter than many hotels in the area, set far enough up from the road to cut down on traffic noise. We thought it was incredible value, though that may change as this hidden gem builds a loyal following. We came for a ski trip at the end of March, and the location worked very well for skiing. I’m 30 and came with my wife. We’ll be back next year and every year, and hope to bring one of our parents someday.
