Residence Les Contrades

The garden was lovely, and the hotel looked great and was clean. We had perfect mountain views and a great location. The warm, friendly staff made sure everything went as planned.

Large rooms with everything we needed, clean and comfortable beds, plus a sauna and bathrobes. This aparthotel exceeded our expectations and made for our best holiday. There’s a bus stop nearby for the ski lift, free for hotel residents, and a large Spar supermarket close by.

We had a comfortable week here in late July. The apartment was spacious, new, and well equipped, with a lovely view from the terrace. Housekeeping came every other day, which was a nice touch. The location is fantastic, and the property manager was easy to reach and answered all our questions. The small downside was the wifi. It was a bit unstable and not very reliable while we were working remotely. Hopefully future guests will be enjoying the scenery instead of working from the apartment! Still, it made a great home for the week, and I was sad to leave.

The ski bus stop is right by the main entrance, and the grocery store is across the street. The nearest restaurant is a three-minute walk, and the lifts take about ten minutes to reach on foot. The bus runs in a loop, so this hotel is its last stop. Going to the lifts, it may already be full; coming back, the ride takes longer. It’s a short route, though, so not a major issue. We preferred walking or driving. Parking by Piz La lla costs 5 euro per day, while you can leave the car by Gardenaccia for free. The apartment seemed new and was well furnished. There was enough room in the underground garage and drying room for all the guests. The sauna was available daily in 45-minute slots, and the receptionist was nice and friendly.
