We had such a good stay over the Immaculate Conception weekend, and we're already thinking of coming back. The host was incredibly helpful, and the location made it easy to explore Gaeta and find places to eat. Our comfortable room had everything we needed: a TV, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and kettle with tea bags and pods. The private terrace came in handy too.

Breakfast is served at a bar about five minutes away on foot, with a voucher for one drink and one dessert. There's also coffee, herbal tea, and water in the house, plus discount coupons for local restaurants. The room was welcoming and spotless, and the neighborhood was calm and peaceful. It's close to both the sea and the center. Really well organized and highly recommended 😊

We had a lovely one-night stay, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. Our room wasn't ready until the scheduled 2:00 PM check-in, but he gave us another room to use for free so we could get in early. The location is great, about a five-minute walk from the free beach and beach resorts. The room was beautiful, and I really liked having a coffee machine with a couple of pods. The only real downside was the soundproofing, or lack of it: outside noise woke us very early. Nearby street parking costs €2 per hour or €15 for the day, while the private lot is €10 daily. Breakfast was pretty ordinary, just coffee or cappuccino and a croissant at a café outside the building. We'll definitely be back.

The host was very helpful throughout our three-day stay. I'd never met her in person, but she was easy to reach by phone and sorted an air conditioning leak in under an hour, including arranging fresh sheets. The room stayed clean, and it had new furniture, clean walls, and nearly new shower fixtures. Our group of three, including a 10-year-old, appreciated the double and single beds. This review is specifically about the SUNRISE room. The property is four minutes on foot from Serapo beach, with paid parking, while Medieval Gaeta is around a 30-minute walk away. It's a pleasant walk if you don't mind stretching your legs after the local food, as we didn't. Still, at €180 a night in high season, or €540 for three nights, I expected more comfort. There was no outdoor space or clothesline for beach towels, so we draped them over the window and sill, which seemed less clean outside. The window couldn't shut properly, leaving the air conditioning less effective. There were too few power outlets: we had to choose between the bedside lamp and charging a phone, there was none by the third bed, and only one in the bathroom. The room's main electricity runs off a key that has to be removed when leaving, and unfortunately the minibar was on that same circuit. Our bottles of water stayed warm while we were out because the fridge stopped working. The spacious bathroom had just a little stool and a small glass shelf above the sink, which got in the way of opening it. I understand they may have wanted to avoid drilling into the tiles, but longer stays need more shelving. I saw another open room with two small balconies and windows on two sides, clearly more spacious. It was also for three people, and seemed much more suitable. SUNRISE didn't feel comfortable for three unless it was just a one-night stay. I might not have minded those small annoyances in a cheap room, but for what we paid, I expected the comforts I thought were included. Breakfast is at a bar about 400 meters away, not terribly far, but less convenient than you'd hope in the morning. I also think it would be a nice gesture to leave a bottle of water in the room before guests bring their own, especially in hot weather. A supermarket bottle costs very little.
