Cumeja Beach Club & Hotel

The place itself is nice, but we couldn't sleep. I recently spent two nights here with my wife and our two-year-old son. The hotel holds private outdoor parties right in front of the rooms, with very loud music and fireworks going until 2 a.m. This wasn't mentioned when we booked. The management didn't even apologize the next morning, just said, “it's a beach club.” I'm still not sure what that was supposed to mean. If you want to sleep in a nightclub, this is the place.

We wanted a quiet family holiday with good food and a chance to relax. What we got was the opposite, and honestly, staying in this so-called hotel was a horror. There was a party every night at the hotel next door, which has the same owner, and the noise lasted past midnight. Breakfast was meager, and the coffee was the worst I've ever had. Dinner was basic and poor, and afterward we all had trouble with the toilet. Staff were impolite and unhelpful. For three days I asked to speak to the manager, but apparently nobody could reach them or the owner. They also charge for extra beach towels, even for children. Sunbeds cost extra too unless you booked that add-on with your reservation. We felt ignored and uncared for, and it felt like a fraud to stay there. A one or two star hotel understands service better. If you want loud music every night without actually going clubbing, this place is perfect.

The room was small but comfortable and nicely designed. There's parking, and the seating out front looks straight onto the beach with a great view. The food was very good, and breakfast was nice too, especially the espresso.

It was a beautiful week, with a lovely atmosphere and a really nice hotel design. The people working there were always kind and ready to help. Breakfast was included and delicious, and we had Italian food for dinner. The hotel is almost right on the beach, so it was easy to relax and enjoy the holiday. Naples airport is only an hour away.
