Venice is close enough for a day trip, and there are bicycles for rent if you want to ride through the countryside. The grounds have a beautiful feel and a lovely view. Both flats we stayed in were spacious and practical. The beds were okay, though a little short for anyone over 6"3'.

A lovely village is about a 10 minute walk down the hill, with a bakery, bar, gelateria, and nice restaurant. The setting is a postcard-worthy castle and stately home of the Marinano family, dating back to the 17th century. The facilities are fairly basic, but have a timeless, homely feel. It suits larger groups well, with separate private apartments. Cyclists can choose flat roads one way or very steep, hilly rides the other. Absolutely recommend it.

I came here for some rest, and it was just right. The Berici Hills were magnificent, and the scenery is fantastic. It's also a handy base for trips into nature and to nearby cities like Padua, Venice, Verona, and Vicenza, as well as places such as Montagnana. The accommodation was spacious and well equipped for cooking, with a very comfortable bed. The owners were available whenever we needed anything. Everything was well maintained, and the outdoor areas were beautiful and welcoming. We had a great stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.
