Il Vignolino Bed and Breakfast

Sylvia was one of the sweetest people we met in Italy. Even with the language barrier, she was warm and accommodating, and dinner was fabulous on both nights we stayed. Our room was large, with stunning views of the surrounding hills. The bed, though, wasn't very comfortable. This is a place to get away and relax. It's up a hill and a long walk from town, so if you want to explore the area, I'd recommend having your own transportation.

Guests should be told at check-in about the option of dinner and its cost. Not everyone knew it was available, even with the plate on the wall. Having to pay the balance for the stay on arrival also felt unusual, since payment is generally made at checkout, and it gave the impression of distrust. The pool looks green rather than clear and blue in the pictures, so it needs more maintenance. Garden seating pillows are a basic service guests can expect, not something that should need to be mentioned in advance. It's sad that the owners treat feedback as an attack instead of a way to improve their service. They only reply to reviews they consider negative about the facility, and seem unable to use that feedback to make improvements.

The quiet setting, tasty dinner and wine made our one-night stop between destinations a very enjoyable one. The owners were sweet, too.

The owner was horrible, and the organization and treatment were very bad. I'd absolutely recommend one of the other two agriturismos in town.
