Villa Erbaia Relais de Charme

I fell in love with this hotel. The experience was absolutely incredible and magnificent. Margherita, the manager, was the very best, and Carmela the cook was gracious and wonderful. Frederica was also very nice.

The staff made our stay, especially how they helped our baby feel at home with thoughtful touches in the room, warm smiles and a hand whenever we needed one. Traveling with a little one can be challenging, but here it felt easy and natural. Everyone we met was kind, welcoming and truly dedicated to making things perfect. Villa Erbaia Relais de Charme is a real gem in the heart of Tuscany. From the moment we arrived, we felt calm and welcomed. The villa is elegant, beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by countryside like a painting. It's a lovely spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. Whether you're after relaxation, romance or a family-friendly Tuscany getaway, it delivers. We left refreshed and grateful, already dreaming of coming back.

The staff really made the difference. Margherita and her team were welcoming and supportive throughout, which helped us relax and make the most of our stay. Carmella and the team took such good care of us in the beautifully restored dining room. Her food was lovely, and her hospitality felt personal and heartfelt. They even opened the restored chapel for us, and it's a great place for a wedding. The Villa and its setting are fantastic. It's in beautiful countryside, well placed for visiting Florence and Bologna. The restoration is to an incredible standard, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I've stayed at a few Relais before, but never enjoyed the experience as much as I did at Villa Erbaia. I don't often write reviews, but this place and its people deserve all five stars. Grazie!

For a country stay like this, you'll need a car, though there are several small towns and excellent restaurants close by. The small train to Florence at San Piero in Sieve is also not far away. We spent seven days at the Villa and everything was just right. It's a classic Tuscan villa with modern amenities, restored with period charm. The quiet setting, pool, lovely garden and iconic Tuscan landscape made it a relaxing retreat. The manager showed us around the property, our rooms and the surroundings. She isn't always at the desk because the property is large, but she gave us her number, and we could call whenever we needed. Elegant furnishings and decor made us feel completely at home, never intimidated. Service was outstanding, and we can't say enough about Marguerite and Carmella. It's more like an elegant retreat than an average hotel. We'll definitely be back.
