The town is a little remote, but it works for people who love the beach or the mountains. My boyfriend and I were both impressed by how welcoming the place was. The owner was very kind and helpful, and although the rooms aren’t new, they were spotless and comfortable, with that classic hill or mountain house feel. If you want a holiday where you feel at home, this is a good choice. And don’t worry about finding somewhere to eat: the Azzeccagarbugli is fabulous, with delicious food, great value, and friendly service from the guys.

Andrea was the highlight, really friendly and helpful. We ate at his pizzeria and had a great meal for very little, something we haven’t managed in ages. The B&B room was reasonably priced, clean, and tidy, with a roomy, comfortable bathroom. I’d recommend it as a stop on a long trip.

It’s always nice to come back to Kalimera. The room is spacious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and family-like. It works well as a stop during a trek or as a break from the heat at the beaches. There’s free parking nearby, and Andrea’s pizza at the Azzeccagarbugli pizzeria below Kalimera is worth a trip from Genoa 🤗

We only stayed one night at Andrea’s, but had a fantastic time. He let us keep our bikes in his garage and gave us useful advice for the next part of our journey. Dinner at his restaurant was excellent, and we haven’t eaten that well for such a reasonable price in a long time. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and Andrea would get all 10 stars from me. The place suits both sports and relaxation. We’ll definitely return, and I highly recommend booking with him if you need accommodation in Bardineto.

The owner was kind and friendly, and ready to help whenever needed. We found it handy to use the kitchen on the ground floor. I stayed in early August and had a great time: the apartment and bathroom were spotless, the rooms very spacious, and the beds comfortable. I’d also suggest dinner at the Azzeccagarbugli pizzeria. Keep in mind that Bardineto is a half-hour drive from the sea when planning your trip.
