ROMAC - Campo Marzio

The evening desk attendant, Fabio, is why I’m writing my first review. After a full day walking in the biting wind, I wanted a hot drink and ordered what I thought was hot chocolate. I’d heard it was different in Europe, but wasn’t prepared for something that was basically a melted chocolate bar. I tried sipping it on the walk back. When we got to the hotel, I showed it to Fabio, and he immediately brought a different mug, steamed some milk, and mixed in some of the chocolate. He was so kind and helpful, even at 8 pm. It was a small thing, but the kindness we’d had at other places in Rome left a lot to be desired. I was impressed. Anyone who seems to enjoy their job as much as Fabio deserves a great review, and maybe a raise! At check-in at Campo Marzio, everyone was helpful and accommodating. Our room was unique and decorated in a fun way. You can hear through the very thin walls, which could be a downside, but I sleep with white noise, so it didn’t bother me.

The hosts were very helpful, and we enjoyed their hospitality. Our room at Campo Marzio was clean, with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The location is excellent, right in central Rome, about five minutes from the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and other sights. We had a wonderful stay.

The rooms were very clean and had everything needed for a short stay. The host was friendly and happy to help, and arranged our airport transfers without any problems. The location was fantastic, within a 30-minute walk of most major attractions. Highly recommended, and great value for what you get!

Campo Marzio is a lovely place for dinner, breakfast, or brunch. The menu has plenty of choices, with lots of tasty breakfast and brunch options. The surroundings are beautiful, and the food is very good for reasonable prices. I definitely recommend going.
