Casa Liva is a real gem. The rooms are very clean and everything is kept in great shape. The pool is lovely, and the service is outstanding, with everyone friendly and helpful. Breakfast has plenty of choice, most of it made from scratch, and it's delicious. You can get snacks and drinks throughout the day until 22.00 o’clock. It's peaceful here, a little outside Bardolino's center, and breakfast outside comes with a gorgeous lake view. Highly recommended!

The view over the lake was nice, and the bedroom and bathroom were spacious. But please check ahead, because the whirlpool and swimming pool may be closed even though the website doesn't mention it, despite having paid for them. There's an unleashed dog on the premises, so bear that in mind if you're scared of dogs. Soundproofing could be better too: we heard people on the stairs in the morning and a TV in the evening. I couldn't sleep well because some windows had no shutters. My iPhone wouldn't connect to the TV via Airplay, and the WiFi was weak, with videos buffering. Breakfast was disappointing. The bread was hard and tasteless, and I got lucky with warm water for black tea, though it should be 95°C.

Sarah and her team made us feel really welcome and turned our stay into an experience. The view over Lago di Garda is unbelievable, and Bardolino is only 3km away. There are also two restaurants within walking distance serving delicious Italian food. It's a great spot if you're looking for peace and quiet, and we'll come back!
