We had a fantastic evening in a beautiful setting, with a group of 14. Thomas and his team gave us magnificent service, and the food was fresh. The meat was great, especially the fiorentina, and the local wines were very good too. A must visit if you’re in the Lake Garda area.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we loved the restaurant. The mussels with chilli, truffle gnocchi, and veal were all superb, and it was one of the best meals we had in Italy. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely recommend it and come back.

We’ve been coming to Arizona every year, and this used to be one of our regular great meals, with good food and service for eleven years, ever since it was recommended during our first stay in Lazise. This time was a real disappointment. The food has lost its distinctive taste, and everything we ordered was nearly flavorless. The gnocchi tartufo used to be the best in the area, but now it’s well below average. The service and hospitality were poor too. The younger waiter worked hard and seemed to be trying, but the older man with glasses, who seemed to be training him, was lazy and showed no interest in serving us. Are there new owners? It’s sad to see a good restaurant decline in one season. If I were the former owner, I’d be sad.

The food was to die for, and there was a great wine selection. The waiters’ service and German were excellent, and the beef was cooked perfectly. I’ve never had such a wonderful steak outside the US. I can’t give this place enough stars!
