For our week-long stay, it was a good choice in sleepy Barga. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and spoke English well. Breakfast was decent and the rooftop terrace was very nice. The decor is fairly dated, and our room didn’t have air-conditioning.

The rooftop has a lovely 360-degree view, and it’s beautiful in every direction. Breakfast had lots of options, all very fresh. Thanks to Daniela for helping us sort out a small problem on the first night. Five-star service.

The owners are friendly and caring, and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel sits at the bottom of Barga's historic centre, which is up a steep hill. There’s a small inflatable Jacuzzi on a quiet terrace, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and ancient town.

I had room 25 on the top floor, with a roof terrace. It was spacious, large and clean, and the views over Barga from the terrace were amazing. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and took care of all my needs. Breakfast was fresh and offered plenty of choice. Highly recommended if you’re staying in barga.
