B&B Le Coccinelle

This was the worst stay I've had after many trips, and I felt scammed. We went to Bari near the end of June. The B&B is about 10 minutes from the station, but getting there means taking luggage up and down stairs over a pedestrian bridge. The streets were very dirty. It's an old building that's been renovated, with one flat split into three rooms beside a main road, so it was noisy. The toilet didn't work properly, as shown in the attached photo. There was only a sheet on the bed, and a thin, very smelly comforter in the wardrobe. Hot water ran out when all the rooms used it at once. Breakfast was just one biscuit, and the staff were impolite and offered no service. Don't book this B&B. Stay in the old town area if you want a good experience as a tourist.

The traffic noise from the boulevard was so loud it felt like sleeping outside, and the breakfast was fake. Check-in was a mess too: the owner wasn't there, so we waited over an hour for some random woman to let us in. Come morning, the owner suddenly came straight into our room and told us to leave. It was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Dario was attentive and very helpful, and the location worked well for getting around, about seven minutes from the station and 15 from the historic center. The room was renovated, clean, and very nice. You might hear people in the common room in the morning, but it wasn't bothersome.

We didn't meet the owner, but he sent clear, detailed information over WhatsApp, and everything went smoothly. The room was clean and had a good shower, air conditioning, and a TV. There's a café downstairs for breakfast, plus a coffee machine. The station isn't far, and there's a paid private garage right under the house.
