At the same price in Spain, we had four rooms, a wonderful swimming pool, a kitchen full of different devices, a big TV and two bathrooms. Here, it was one room with a so-called kitchen and a wardrobe without shelves. Never again.

Finding out how check-in worked was unsettling. There was no reception desk, and payment was cash only through a sort of reverse ATM. It printed a document that I had to send to a WhatsApp number before getting a video explaining what to do next. Booking.com had said cards were accepted and had already asked for my card details, so the cash-only setup felt shady. Worse, they cancelled my reservation at the last minute without telling me. I only found out from Booking.com customer service while standing outside the B&B, with no reception and no valid phone number to reach anyone there. Booking.com customer service helped sort things out, but B&B Santa Fara was not reliable. This is not how you want a holiday to start. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone.

You get decent value for the price, but knowing some Italian helps if you need assistance.

A good room if you like places that feel like a time capsule. Very retro.
