At Bari Cozy Apartment by Wonderful Italy, Via Pasquale Paoli 40, Bari, BA, 70123 Italy, we asked for a refund after running into several problems, but they never offered us a penny. We gave the Wonderful Italy address our exact arrival time, yet we couldn’t get into the apartment for two and a half hours. The company never contacted us. We had to involve the police or we would have been left homeless on the street. The bathroom was too small for an average-sized person to fit between the sink and the wall on the way to the shower. Its towel hanger was broken, there was nowhere to put clean clothes, the shower drain kept clogging, and they ignored our request to fix it. The bathroom door handle was broken too, which made the door difficult to open. There was no kitchen sink. The sink we had to use for dishes was in another room and had no hot water. For three people staying seven days, they left only one and a half rolls of toilet paper and ONE set of towels. We had asked for sleeping arrangements for three adults, but there was one double bed and a child-sized sofa laid flat. It would never fit an adult, as the attached pictures show. Getting a response from the company was nearly impossible. The Wonderful Italy website said “customer help” was available from 9am to 11pm, but the actual hours were 9am to 9pm, two hours less. Replies took a couple of days or never came at all. Their website technical issues made it almost impossible to log into my account, and the available wi-fi was so slow that opening apps was mostly impossible.
