BB Marselo

A very clean place, and the owners were great, friendly and helpful.

The B&B isn't right by Bari's center or the main beaches, but there are plenty of buses in the area until 11 p.m. One stops right beside the B&B, and the ride to Bari Centrale takes ten minutes. The rooms were clean and cozy, with all the usual comforts, including a fridge with a small freezer compartment. Staff and owners were friendly and readily answered questions in person or on WhatsApp. Each morning we got a croissant and a waffle for breakfast. Good location overall, and I'd consider staying here again.

The owner and her young daughter were very friendly and ready to help with anything. The rooms are tastefully furnished and spotless, though the high windows mean they're not very bright. It's outside the center and a little out of the way, but there's a bus stop right in front. Many buses go into the city center, and one goes straight to the airport. Good value for money, and we recommend it.

This place works well for me since I teach courses just a stone's throw away. The room is small and basic, and takes a little getting used to, but the bathroom is nice. I'm not keen on the industrial toiletries, like the toilet paper. I'd suggest upgrading those and adding emergency personal hygiene kits, especially as there's a nice lobby with something already on display. I'll be back, though: it's right on the street, with a flat parking lot just steps away. The nearby pizzeria is good and handy. The owner also has a kitchen where you can make coffee with a pod and have a bagged croissant. I'd air the room out a little before a client arrives. See you next time.
