The room and bathroom were clean, but the shower head didn’t work. There’s no reception or front desk, so we felt left on our own. There wasn’t any breakfast, or even an effort to provide something. I was relieved I’d booked only two nights. When we first arrived, the outside of the building looked abandoned, and I thought I might have been scammed. Not nice at all. Like and follow for more amazing places to see and visit around the World.

We were exhausted and jet-lagged after traveling from Chicago to Bari via Istanbul, and this lovely inn gave us a great first night before we headed to Matera. The hosts were charming, and after a really good sleep we enjoyed breakfast. It was exactly the rest we needed.

I wish we’d had more than one night in this perfect hotel. I couldn’t believe we were staying in a villa, and the bedding felt so luxurious. Breakfast was continental, with a lovely view. The bellman also served breakfast and was very kind, courteous, and helpful.

The place had a great authentic feel, and the room was very nice. There was lots of space in the shower, and the bed was comfortable.

The room was big and very clean, and the air conditioner was a lifesaver ;) The hosts speak English and were so kind and helpful. We could always ask them for assistance. Awesome place, even better hospitality. Highly recomended! ❣️🇮🇹
