We spent 11 days here on half board with our 3-year-old daughter, and had a wonderful holiday. The setting is magnificent and genuinely relaxing, and the pool was lovely and very clean. Breakfasts were generous, and the meals were excellent: varied local cooking made entirely with high-quality ingredients. It's ideally located for exploring Tuscany.

Three young owners clearly care about doing things well, and one of them is a talented young chef. We had a wonderful time at this brick-red farmhouse on a hill, with its breathtaking views, recently renovated rooms that were both lovely and comfortable, and a nice pool. It was the coldest weekend of winter, so we couldn't use the pool. The food was excellent, made with homemade and local products. You have to visit to believe it.

The food was genuine and plentiful, and we can only thank the owners and give them great publicity. They’re young, but so kind and friendly, and I’m sure they have a bright future. It’s a truly relaxing, well-kept place, clean throughout, with furnishings that are simple but practical.

I don't understand the earlier reviews. Being surrounded by nature is one thing, but this place felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were poorly furnished, there were cobwebs, and the boiler was never switched on. Food was average. The garden overlooking the valley was the one nice part; otherwise, it was chaotic. On Saturday night, only our table and one other were occupied.
