The rooms are spacious, though poorly furnished, and the photos made the place look better. The location is handy for the ring road and not far from the stadium. The check-in clerk was very polite when we arrived, but the next morning he was irritated with us for leaving our keys in the room instead of handing them over. Nobody had told us we were supposed to do that. Breakfast at the service area was so-so, and the staff there seemed rude and annoyed by everything and everyone.

We got in at 12:30 a.m. after our flight was delayed and were warmly welcomed in Italian. A colleague spoke English. They offered us drinks first, then we paid for the room. It was above a casino that looked good both outside and in. Our room had a bathroom and cooking facilities, plus a large balcony. It was perfectly equipped and spotlessly clean, with a coffee maker and coffee in the kitchenette, a lovely start to our vacation. Parking and Wi-Fi were free and good. You can’t hear the road from the terrace or inside the room. Excellent stay, and the price was the same.

We couldn’t wait to get away from this place. My husband booked it because it was close to the sea, but access to the sea is prohibited. We didn’t have a car, so we had to take taxis everywhere, at €25 to go anywhere. The man who greeted us seemed annoyed just by our existence. We paid right away but never got a receipt. The rooms are quite comfortable, but I wouldn’t set foot there again. It might suit someone stopping on the ring road to play the lottery and stay overnight, but otherwise it just isn’t worth it. A really terrible experience, a nightmare.

The room was a good size, with a good kitchen, a large bathroom, and a nice terrace. There’s a bus stop right next door and another across the street, with good connections to the city centre. A friend and I chose the place for its proximity to the airport and the room price, which was really good compared with other hotels and apartments nearby. The guy running it handles both the casino and the rooms, so he can’t keep up. It’s best to call ahead so he can be at reception when you arrive. Arriving after 1:30 p.m. is also advisable, since checkout is then and it gives them time to clean the room. He was very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. He doesn’t smile, but I don’t see that as a problem when the service is friendly and courteous. I’d say this place is for young people or couples.
