Villa Eden B&B

We were both so glad to leave early on Sunday, especially after getting lost for an hour the night before and barely sleeping. Finding the place in the dark was a nightmare, and it isn't where Google Maps shows it. The rooms felt stale and airless, and the owner smokes inside. There were personal belongings and ornaments cluttering the old-fashioned property. Breakfast finished at 8:30 a.m. and checkout was at 9:30 a.m., even on a weekend. It was coffee with packaged, long-life croissants and pastries, with no other choices. There was also an aggressive swan in the small garden pool, which made the whole place feel even more bizarre. I'd avoid it. The star is only here so I could post.

Anna and Saverio were the best part of our stay at Villa Eden. They welcomed my wife and me right away and were always happy to help, give advice, or spoil us a little. They also knew the Puglia region well and shared great ideas for our short seven-day visit. We stayed for two nights in May 2016, in a large double room with a spacious bathroom on a middle floor, separate from the rest of the property. It gave us plenty of privacy. The villa is beautifully furnished, with a pool and greenery that's well cared for. Soundproof windows and the walls around the property helped us sleep very well. Getting around was easy whether driving or taking the train. The villa is close to the ring road and the station, and Bari Centrale is a 10-minute train ride away. Breakfast was generous and ready at the time we requested, and the value for money was excellent. My wife and I left a piece of our hearts here. I'd recommend Villa Eden for a stay in Bari, whether for business or pleasure.
