Residence Old Stories

We were there for four nights with our two-year-old twins, and Francesco met all our needs. His kindness and hospitality were truly priceless. The B&B was super clean, with spacious rooms and bathrooms and large showers, which anyone with kids will know is important for adults too. Thank you so much. We'd love to return and highly recommend it.

The location is quiet and convenient, just a short distance from the center of Rionero in Vulture. Breakfast at a nearby café was simple and pleasant, and the owners were kind and helpful. Self-service check-in was practical and flexible, with free parking on site. The property was clean, welcoming, and well maintained, and our room was comfortable with an impeccable bathroom. A positive stay and good value for money. Recommended.

The residence is handy for driving around the local villages. The notary wineries in Rionero are just a few minutes away by car, the Monticchio lakes take about 20-25 minutes, and Castelmezzano is an hour away. Breakfast is served at a bar about 50 meters away, and there's private parking. From the property you look out over the Vulture plain, a very relaxing view. In the lobby there are coffee and snack machines, sofas, and a TV. The rooms are spacious, fully equipped, and very clean. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, the shower was very large, and the bathroom had a good hair dryer and a hygiene kit with hand soap, shampoo, shower gel, and intimate soap. Access is by a code the owner sent us after self-checking in.

The view over all that greenery is breathtaking, and at night the starry sky is like no other. The rooms have a style I love, and the cleanliness was amazing, not even a speck of dust under the bed. Everything was modern, carefully maintained, and spotless, and the staff were so kind. Great location and free private parking. The one small drawback is breakfast: it's outside the property at a nearby bar, which takes 20 minutes to walk to, otherwise you need to drive. Everything else was perfect.
