We had a great stay at the Relais in August. Piero, the owner, really stood out for his warmth and willingness to help. The rooms were clean and well cared for, and we could use the pool with its loungers and umbrellas. We also enjoyed the delicious meals at the restaurant, made with local ingredients. It’s a handy spot for visiting Assisi.

Piero was the real highlight. Even while running two fully booked properties at once, he was exceptionally kind and available whenever we needed him. We found the place by chance when booking at the last minute for a busy long weekend, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. The room was clean and had all the essential comforts. It’s also well placed for visiting Assisi, San Damiano, Spello, and other attractions in Umbria. Truly, my compliments.

The food was all delicious, with a menu of homemade traditional dishes, some using produce straight from their own garden. Our booking also included breakfast, the pool, ping pong, and table football, so all we had to think about was choosing breakfast. Piero rescued us from a nightmare hotel we’d escaped, and everything here was perfect.

Piero treats guests like friends, and the staff are kind and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The relais has new, spotless rooms looking out over a green space full of flowers. It’s very close to Assisi and well positioned for the roads to other sights in green Umbria. Highly recommended.

Really good food and service, with excellent rooms and cleanliness. The setting is quiet too. We’ll be back.
