It’s right in the middle of things, but the apartment was still quiet and felt like a little retreat. There’s a nice cafe downstairs and a couple of places to get drinks across the street. The Colosseum is just steps away, and Monti is a very short walk in the other direction. I stayed for two nights and had the whole charming, well-kept place to myself, though I believe it sleeps up to five. It was clean and comfortable, with an elevator and a washing machine in the apartment. If it’s available, I’d say stay here.

We were only a 20-second walk from the Colesseum, yet the apartment felt like a peaceful hideaway after a chaotic day in Rome. A short walk down the steps took us into the Monti Neighborhood, with great restaurants and fewer people. The Colosseo metro station is nearby too, so it was easy to get around in minutes. They made everything seamless and even offered to arrange our transportation without us having to ask. The place is quaint and charming, and looks EXACTLY like the pictures. Someone in our group forgot something, and the hosts mailed it back to the USA. I offered to pay several times, but they refused. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Rome. And that elevator was quite a trip. I loved it!

I never got to meet the owner, but he was very helpful with anything we needed. The apartment was cozy and comfortable for my family, and the location was ideal, just steps from the Colosseum metro station and an easy trip into central Rome. Highly recommended.
