Hotel Agugliastra

We stayed in July 2023 and the staff were welcoming and really nice. Breakfast was great, with eggs and bacon, breads, sliced deli meats, fruit, and more. The air conditioning worked pretty well. Our room was on the second or third floor, facing north, with a lovely view of the mountains and town rooftops, plus a partial view of the sea. I gave the room four out of five stars because the toilet area in the bathroom was extremely cramped. I’m quite small and still found it hard to sit properly. I can’t say whether the other rooms are similar.

The rooms were clean and very reasonably priced, but they were quite small. We were there during a heat wave and the air conditioning struggled. Our daughters’ second-floor room was a little cooler than my husband’s and my room on the third floor. The staff were kind, though they didn’t speak English, so Google Translate was needed if you don’t speak Italian. Trash and recycling trucks were also somewhat noisy, sounding as if they were right outside our window.

The rooms seemed quite new, though the smell was unpleasant, with a really intense room spray. The breakfast was very good, and having a juicer was nice. The employees were helpful and funny, and we had a lot of fun with them. Thank you!

The room had a fantastic sea view and a balcony, and breakfast was my favorite part, with a wide selection of food. We were there for only two days, but that was enough to feel the charm and family atmosphere of Hotel Gugliastra. Everyone was helpful and made us feel like family throughout our stay. Special thanks to Marcella, who was always understanding and cheerful.
