Lanthia Resort

We saw people call it a home away from home, and couldn't agree more. Maria, the maitre'd, and Alesio made our time incredible with their suggestions, the massage, and the private dinner. It was easy to walk to the marina and pick up our charter to see the best beaches in the world, or head into town for gelato or to the private Lanthia beach. When we messaged Lanthia on WhatsApp, they brought us drinks. The dinner was incredible too. We ate there twice and wished we'd gone a third time. One of my top three stays in my life, the warmth and hospitality are palpable.

We loved our room and private terrace, and the service was super nice. The hotel was very clean, with a little beach and a gorgeous little pine forest along the coastline. We'd definitely recommend this place.

We were greeted with drinks and a helpful rundown of what was available, from vineyard tours and massages to the private beach and terrace overlooking the ocean. That warm welcome set the tone for a stay that felt like being in a boutique hotel straight out of Pinterest. Our room was roomy and beautifully done, the staff were lovely, and breakfast and dinner were both delicious. Easily our best resort stay in Sardinia so far.

Breakfast alone would make me want to come back. The spread was incredible, full of regional products, and the food quality was hard to beat. Lunch was fresh and healthy too. Dinner was the weaker meal for us: not much choice, and the dishes were quite unusual. I wish there had been a few simpler options, like spaghetti vongole or steak, or some of the lunch salads for a long, hot beach day. The rest of the hotel made a very good impression. It’s clean, modern, and surrounded by elegant greenery, with easy access to the private beach and a relaxing pine grove. There are lots of places to lounge, and the professional, attentive staff will bring drinks and food if you order through WhatsApp. Drinks come with a nice variety of snacks. We did notice wasps, though they seem common in this region whenever you eat outdoors. Our room was small, but had a terrace, and the bathroom was spacious and modern. There was no coffee machine, which didn’t really matter. The vanity set was replenished each day, and we also found a welcome bottle, a handwritten note, fruit, and the first round of minibar drinks. Beach towels came in a basket. The terrace lighting was a bit too standard for my taste; softer mood lighting would suit it better. On arrival, they helped with our luggage, offered a refreshing drink, and explained the property. The plugs were the standard EU type, so no adapter was needed. We were very pleased with our hotel choice and the welcome we received.
