The manager handled our room problem professionally and moved us to somewhere more suitable. The hotel itself and its location were fine, but one receptionist made the stay miserable. We were a family with two adults and two small children, and had booked two rooms because no apartments were available. Even though she could see we had young kids, she put the rooms far apart. I initially assumed there simply wasn't another option. The room for my son and me seemed intended for disabled guests and smelled strongly of mold. I raised it politely, and the receptionist said she would check, but nothing happened. I had to ask for the manager. When I said I'd have to leave a negative review, she threatened to take away my parking space and make me move to another one. That felt vindictive and completely unprofessional. I've never experienced such hostility from hotel staff. It seemed like she was trying to make our stay unpleasant, and I don't understand how management lets someone with that attitude work at reception. To the manager, please reconsider who represents the hotel. One employee can ruin the experience. Until this is addressed, I can't recommend Hotel Rosa to families or anyone expecting basic respect and hospitality.

I appreciated how clean the room was and its neutral colors, though I expected a little more for the price. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in away from home, and the pillows were perfect. Those two things earned a solid five stars from me.

The view was good and the bed comfortable, but the room was really small and noisy, and the price felt too high for its size. We were very close to the railway, and the room shook when trains went by. Breakfast also seemed expensive for the food on offer.

The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great base for getting to the lakes and the Alps.

Garbage bins sat right outside our windows, and the room stank. Staff were rude and not helpful at all. We couldn't get our money back in the end, and the whole vacation was ruined. Stay away!
