The receptionist was really accommodating, and our room was clean with a great view from the balcony. The Wi-Fi was decent too. The only hassle was getting there with luggage. If you’re coming to Como, Italy, I’d suggest bringing just a backpack.

Our host, K, was great, and the view from our room was awesome. The room was fine, with a firm mattress. Bellaggio has lots of steps, and the hotel sits near the top of the town’s central area.

The lake view was amazing, and the guesthouse was lovely. It’s basic, but very clean and has all you need. Laura was friendly and helpful, and even gave my husband a bottle of sparkling wine for his birthday. Great location.

After hiking from Como to Bellagio, we spent one night at Albergo Giardinetto. Laura and her father were wonderful hosts, and we especially liked our room’s small balcony and stunning Lake Como view. If you’re after a laid-back, authentic place to stay, Albergo Giardinetto is for you.

The staff were friendly, the location was great, and there’s a nice courtyard where you can sit in the shade and get out of the heat.
