The guesthouse is a long way from the station, with very few buses to the tourist sights. Being right beside a main road also meant the traffic disturbed us after only half an hour downstairs. The owner didn't answer calls or emails. I made a mistake with my booking dates, and the owner refused to refund me, leaving me with a big financial loss. I contacted Trip straight after booking and tried to work something out with the guesthouse, but got no reply. I went there myself. I could hear voices and people moving inside, but nobody opened the door or would speak to me. I rang twice, and they hung up and blocked me straight away. Is that how a guesthouse should treat people? Bloody bandits. They just took €241 from my account. We'd saved for this trip, and now the two of us students have nothing but breadcrumbs to eat. They should get their comeuppance for taking money people worked hard to earn. May the owners' lives be miserable!

The host was helpful and accommodating, even with little things like suggesting places to go during the day. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good, a nice extra. You can hear some outside noise through the thin walls. The location is good, with most major tourist attractions about an hour's walk away. I'd recommend it.

A great budget option, super close to the Vatican and public transport into Rome's city center. We loved the staff member Prince. He's an outstanding person who goes above and beyond to help with anything. Definitely recommend!

The manager was rude and didn't solve the problem at all. He didn't seem to understand he was at work. In the middle of our conversation, he turned around and walked away.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and very nice. Breakfast is brought to your bed, too. For Gregor Guest House, go up to the first floor and turn right to get in. There's a bus stop in front of the house. The bus reaches the Vatican in about 10 minutes and the old town in 20-25 minutes. Walking to the old town takes you past the Vatican. I can definitely recommend staying here.
