The bedroom view was almost otherworldly. On a clear morning, we watched the sunrise reflect off the mountain across the lake, lighting both it and the water in golden hues. Absolutely amazing. The owner was very helpful, and the location is wonderful. Staying here gets you a free pass to the gardens, and you can walk through them to reach downtown. We took that route every time we went into town.

By the lake, with a great location and free parking. There isn't a lake view, though, and the hot water can stop suddenly. Construction starts nearby early, around 8AM.

The hostess was helpful at check-in and check-out. The split-floor apartment was roomy and had what you'd need from a serviced apartment, with windows overlooking Lake Como. Air conditioning was the one thing missing. The weather wasn't too bad when we visited in mid-August, and there were a few portable fans. Some public parking spots were right outside, and a couple of good restaurants were within walking distance. If you're coming from Milan, it's a good idea to stop at a supermarket on the way to Bellagio.

We had a wonderful family holiday. The location was excellent and the flat was comfortable, but it wasn't clean under the beds. The baby got spider bites and mosquito bites, and we had to keep the windows closed most of the time because they weren't safe for the child. A dishwasher is also needed.

My apartment was roomy and comfortable, and it looked just like the photos. It was also spotless. A lovely place, and the room key gets you free entry to Giardini Di Villa Melzi.
