Clara and her family live above the apartment, and they were kind, friendly, and made us feel like family. We had four amazing nights at La Punta. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and set in an idyllic spot.

The view is sensational, and the lakeside location is what you’re paying for. Still, I wouldn’t return or recommend the place. We paid over $650 USD (600EUR) per night in the off season, but the apartment needs updating. The old couch wasn’t comfortable, the beds were very firm, and the decor felt dated. The shower was great and the small kitchen was perfectly fine. I also didn’t find the hosts very friendly. They were noisy around 10pm each night, and one night they were arguing loudly. They wanted to charge extra for everything, even an extra towel. One towel isn’t enough for a week, and the whole stay left me pretty disappointed.
