Luisas House Bellagio

The owner really was helpful, and Camelia is a spacious, tasteful apartment. It has two roomy bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate kitchen and a large living and dining area. At first it seemed well looked after, but we later found dust clumps under the beds and dirty cutlery and an oven pan. The heating also seemed to have a temperature cap. I understand wanting to manage heating costs, but the apartment was 16°C inside at night and we were cold, even with the duvets on the beds. I found another duvet for each bed, though sadly they didn’t smell clean. By the time we noticed these things, we’d washed the utensils and used the extra duvets, so we didn’t contact the owner. Three stars for the space, tasteful decor and helpful owner.

We had such a lovely stay. The town is beautiful!

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The room smelled horrible, and we even found a lizard in the shower!

The larger upstairs apartment was a good place to share with friends. Its location is a real plus: the shops, Villa Melzi and Bellagio are all easy to reach on foot, and there’s free parking near the supermarket. We were otherwise completely satisfied. There are a few things the apartment could use: a vacuum cleaner, more cutlery and extra bathroom storage. With so many mosquitoes around at the moment, nets for the bathroom and bedroom would have been ideal. Keep up the good work!
