B&B Villa Anita

We paid 535 euros for a three-night booking, believing it was a double room for two. On arrival, the hostess said the reservation was only for one person and demanded another 150 euros for the second. We’d just arrived and didn’t want the hassle, so I reluctantly paid. But after seeing the damp room, the faint unpleasant smell from the bed, and the leaking bathroom, I didn’t feel it was worth 685 euros for three nights. I called to ask if the extra charge could be reduced. The hostess was incredibly rude, said the booking error was mine, and told me I had to pay the 150 euros or leave immediately. She even threatened to call the local police if I didn’t comply. Stunned by her attitude, I canceled the stay and paid for just one night. We managed that through the booking platform, without having to deal with her again. The way we were treated was so bad that I couldn’t justify staying longer. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The view from our room was magnificent, even better than in the photos, and everything was beautifully designed with care for the details. The room was also very clean. We really enjoyed our stay, one of the best places to stay at Lake Como. Parking was free and breakfast was very nice. The hosts were kind and happy to help.

It’s about a 10-minute walk to the boat station if you take the shortcut path. One of the best places to book for a Lake Como vacation :)

Every morning there was a generous breakfast spread with plenty to choose from, and it was all very good. The hosts were incredibly friendly and picked us up from the train station. The view from our room and the shared balcony was absolutely gorgeous. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Anita and would definitely recommend it!
