Hotel Gradara

The room was clean and roomy enough, with a large terrace and a beautiful sea view. The hotel is about as close to the beach as you can get, and the staff were great and very helpful.

The outdoor pool is beautiful, and you can look straight out at the waves from it. The hotel also has a sea view and friendly staff who are always around. The rooms felt a little small and cramped.

I've been coming back for four years because this hotel feels so welcoming. The food is fabulous, and I can't think of a flaw. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the common areas are well kept. Lisa, the owner, and the staff are friendly. A special thank you to Fiore, the chef de rang assigned to my rank, for her professionalism and for looking after every detail from breakfast through dinner. Those little touches made me feel so welcome.

Breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and well organized, and the sea-view room was splendid. The property is modern and well maintained, and reception staff were extremely kind. The owner was helpful too. Dinner was the letdown: although we arrived on time, service felt rushed. Dessert came while we were still eating our main courses, even though we had asked them to wait, and it had melted by the time we ate it. Dinner itself was decent, but the buffet was nearly empty when we arrived at 8:00 PM after the dining room opened at 7:30 PM, and nothing was replenished. The waiter seemed under-trained, and the dish selection was smaller than I expected. This is constructive criticism because the hotel is beautiful and has a lot of potential. Better managed service would have made the stay perfect.
