We felt more like old friends than guests, thanks to Antonio's warm, thoughtful welcome. He was always there if we needed anything. The house had everything we could want, and then some, with a generous breakfast plus complimentary donuts, crostata, olive oil, and maybe something else I'm forgetting. Outside, there's a well-kept garden with a table and games for children, as well as a BBQ and oven. The views are stunning. Getting around in a wheelchair is possible, though a bit difficult. We'd love to come back during porcini mushroom season.

The owners were warm and kind, and the house was clean and well cared for. Set in nature, it's a quiet spot that works just as well for a romantic weekend as for a family with kids and dogs. The garden has a fantastic view, and the whole place feels peaceful.

Even the fireplace had been made ready before we arrived. The place is lovely and cared for down to the details. The owner was kind but discreet, and made us a delicious herbal tea using Ginkgo biloba from his garden.

The host was the highlight, such a wonderful person. We also loved the peaceful setting and the views, and the ground-floor apartment with its fireplace was excellent.

A good base for exploring nearby places, with Tivoli worth a visit and Rome 50 km away. The valley view makes it a lovely place to unwind.
