The setting is lovely and rural, with picturesque views, and Belluno is still reachable on foot, about an hour from the train and bus station. We had a charming stay, complete with farm cats, and a delicious three-course dinner with wine for €25. It felt like a real bargain.

We spent about €90 a night for three people, and the countryside was so peaceful we could read outside, play with the farm animals, and watch fireflies in the evening. Ms. Luisa served a simple but very nice breakfast and was warm and hospitable. We even got the “uovo” we asked for. Our apartment had a small kitchenette. It wasn't equipped with much, but we managed to cook there. Dinner can also be prepared for you, and from what we saw it looked authentic and delicious. The wine they sell was very good too. Casa de Bertoldi gave us a wonderful stay. We'll tell friends and family to stop by if they visit the area, and maybe we'll come back ourselves.

We booked at the last minute because we needed somewhere to stay, and the people there made us feel right at home. Everyone was warm, sociable, and accommodating. They cooked us a fantastic multi-course dinner with produce from the farm, and there was great coffee available all day. We had a lot of fun and lovely conversations. The new couple helping run the place speak great English, which was a real plus.

The farm is lovely, and both breakfast and dinner were really good and convenient. There's no air conditioning or fan, but at the end of June we didn't need either. Opening the windows was enough. My husband is celiac, and the owner was happy to arrange gluten-free options, which was a big plus for us.

We had a great time in these spacious, nicely furnished apartments. The owners are friendly and kind, and Luisa is a fantastic cook, so do try the restaurant's local dishes. Such a charming place.
