Agriturismo Passitti

The room had no Wi-Fi, and the shower only got warm, not properly hot. The drive in was already a bad start: the last 500 metres to the agriturismo are in very poor condition, and we broke a wheel there. The owner helped me remove it the next day, but he was quick to prepare the bill and didn’t apologize for the situation. Since it was late, we accepted his offer to cook for us at the place, at 25 euros per person. He prepared everything himself. The antipasto was a bowl of olives and some salami. The pasta alla norma arrived with cheese already on it, which not everyone likes. We weren’t allowed to sit in the locked restaurant because he said the air conditioning was on, though it was a large room and only one unit had been turned on. For the main course, he’d promised a cotoletta for the kids, but they got the same as the adults: chips and chicken covered in a dark sauce. The chicken honestly didn’t look like chicken, and everything was so heavily salted that we ended up not eating it. Dessert was a small piece of watermelon, not the mixed fruit he’d told us to expect. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Don’t be fooled by the nice website and photos.
