Hotel Hiberia

Our room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff were the best, so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed three nights at Hotel Hiberia and would definitely stay again. The location made it easy to walk to many popular sights. My only hesitation about giving the room five stars was its awkward bathroom layout. It’s an older building, so that makes sense, and the age is part of its charm.

The staff were patient, welcoming, and so helpful. A few days before we arrived, the hotel emailed to offer an airport taxi pickup. I’d never had that happen before, and it was such great service. There’s even a tiny coffee and alcohol bar in the lobby, and the elevator is really cool. The location is ideal: not right in front of a tourist spot where it might get loud, but within walking distance of Trevi, the Colosseum, the Spanish Step, and lots of restaurants. Across the street there’s a delicious gelato shop, a cafe, and a convenience store. Downstairs are a pizza place and a boutique. Our room was spacious, the view from the window was a pleasant surprise, and the AC and hot water were great. Basic amenities were provided.

We were there for a birthday and arranged balloons and a cake at the Hotel Restaurant. The staff were excited to help, and both the balloons and the birthday cheesecake were perfect. They gave us great support, and we’ll likely stay here again if we return to Rome. We spent two and a half days at this Hotel. Reception was consistently amazing, and everyone I saw coming through got the same great service. We arrived early, but the staff checked us in, took our bags, and gave us a great rundown of the city. The room was perfect for us. The AC wasn’t quite like what we’re used to in the US, but it kept us cool enough, as we’ve come to expect when traveling in Europe. Great staff and location. Thanks!

The hotel was very clean, the room was beautiful, and the location was excellent. Service was even better. Rafael went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed to send postcards. I’d highly recommend this place.
