Casa Zelia

The owners were thoughtful, kind, and ready to help with anything, and the apartment itself was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. It’s an easy walk to the cathedral and historic center, with the station conveniently close too. If I come back to Benevento, this will be my first choice.

Grandma Zelia made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. The bright, clean space had everything we needed for breakfast, and they even put a crib in for our twins. The location was just right. We’d happily come back.

Casa Zelia is tucked into a quiet spot, yet the main historic sights are only a few minutes away on foot. We could leave the car parked the whole time, with shops, a pharmacy, supermarkets, pizzerias, a butcher and a fishmonger just meters away. There’s also reserved private parking by the entrance, an accessible walkway in the lovely foyer, and an elevator. My studio on the fifth floor had a balcony, a roomy bright bedroom, and a comfortable shower in the spacious bathroom. The renovated kitchenette was brand new and well equipped. Most of all, Angela and the owners were so warm and attentive that I felt right at home during my weekend in Benevento and Pietralcina. I came away truly impressed. Thank you.

I appreciated having mosquito nets, since bites can keep me from sleeping. The owners were accommodating too, letting us leave our bags after checkout. Inside, the apartment was bright, clean, and nicely furnished, with a well-stocked kitchen and coffee pods, biscuits, and juice for breakfast. It’s also easy to get to from the historic center.
