Traiano Guest House

There wasn't a breakfast room, though the room had packaged snacks, coffee and tea, plus cups, a fridge and microwave. The recently renovated room had everything needed, new fixtures, air conditioning and a comfortable mattress. Cleanliness was more than acceptable and met a very high standard.

We spotted bugs in the shower and on the bathroom window while being shown the first room. Five minutes later, we found hairs in the bidet and on the bed, so they moved us to another room. That one was just as filthy, dusty and unswept, with unfinished paintwork, graffiti on the wall and even on the unfinished front door. There were plenty of unpleasant surprises from the moment we walked in. An experience to forget. Friendly advice: pick somewhere else.

This isn't a 55 sq m apartment. It's a ground-floor one-bedroom place with a small window and security bars, plus a living room and a windowless bathroom. The furniture and kitchen are dated, and cleaning was minimal. You get in on foot through a poorly maintained alley in the historic center. For one night, maybe it's possible...

I was awake all night. The room was filthy, with awful bathroom fixtures, bugs in the shower, and hair in both the bidet and on the bed. We asked to switch rooms, but the other one was just as dirty. A terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
